Experience the majestic beauty of the Cape Peninsula.
1. Go on a spectacular scenic Cape Town tour on your first day, just to get an overview of our beautiful city (without having trouble parking in the city centre). The Hop On- Hop off City sightseeing Bus is one of the best and affordable ways to explore the city.
2. A definite must-do is the so-called Cape Peninsula Route. Drive along the Atlantic coast passing through the fishing village of Hout Bay. Here you will have the option of taking a short boat trip to Duiker Island to view the Cape Fur seals.
Head along the spectacular Chapman's Peak drive on to Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve. Return to Cape Town by way of the Simon's Town naval base where we visit the penguin colony at Boulders Beach. Some of our favorite places along the M4 are Kalk Bay, a charming little fishing village with lots of cozy coffee shops and antique stores that will keep you entertained for hours. Muizenberg beach front is Cape Town hot spot for surfing, kite surfing and land sailing for learners and professionals alike.
Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens has been acclaimed as one of the great botanic gardens of the world. Few gardens can match the sheer grandeur of the setting of Kirstenbosch, against the eastern slopes of Cape Town’s Table Mountain.
